Why Mars fascinates scientists and science fiction fans

Our red neighbor has always been on our minds, it seems. From wondering about the Martians who might come visit to sending long-term rovers to explore the surface and see if water (or other interesting stuff) might be there, we have been watching and learning about Mars for a long time.

The reddish color reminded ancient peoples of blood so it is named for the god of war: Mars. With the largest volcano in the solar system, ice caps and more, no wonder Mars holds our attention!

If you like the way I explained about Mars, I bring that to all of my science and technical voiceover recordings. Have a project that requires a science and technical background, check out my e-learning and medical narration demos and then, let’s talk!
